Sonia Acharya received her BA in biology at The University of Chicago and her PhD with Dr. Miriam Zolan at the University of Indiana, Bloomington working on meiosis and DNA repair. She began a postdoc at OHSU but took a hiatus to raise a family. She joined the Adey Lab in 2018.
